Day Four In The Wasteland

I had such great hopes for this holiday weekend. Instead, I spent
virtually all of it waiting for the phone guy.

I came home Friday to discover that we have no phone or Internet
service. It took ATT 3 days to send out a tech, who after much
fiddling and climbing of poles, could only say, "Sorry, this is bigger
than me." And left.

And so, we wait some more. Apologies to the three of you who read me –
I'll be back as soon as I can!
