Mike Joslyn (Renée’s husband), sometimes styles himself in blog posts as the REAL Flamingo. He provides the “bird’s-eye” perspective at blogger and professional conferences, and historical /technical background behind many foods and food-related customs. He’ll even contribute the occasional recipe. Because, yeah, he cooks, too!
