As soon as the hummingbirds left us for their migration back North, the bright red salvia that I planted to attract them, went into bloom. Hmmph!

    Great shot!!I’m jealous!Our hummingbirs seem to like our purple African Daisies,and our cannas(but they’re not bloomong yet).

    Hummingbirds are such a treat I am sorry that yours missed out on the new blossoms. At least you get to enjoy the birds and the flowers even if they are not together. 🙂

    It’s so difficult trying to capture a hummingbird. My first shot is one but I don’t even think anyone will notice it’s in the photo. 🙂

    Tell me about timing ;)I’ve never seen a hummingbird free in nature. So, just call yourself lucky :DAnd I’ve not seen that kind of Sage either.Ours is more grey and fluffy.
