…and I ain’t got none.
As soon as the hummingbirds left us for their migration back North, the bright red salvia that I planted to attract them, went into bloom. Hmmph!
Another hummingbird view is posted in my PhotoHunt Post over at Flamingo Fotos. Please visit if you have the chance!

Michelle at Rambling Woods is hosting Nature Notes, a weekly meme dedicated to challenging us to take a moment out of our hectic lives and notice the seasonal changes – large and small – taking place in nature all around each of us, in our own little corners of the world. Please visit Michelle and all the other participants, and maybe take some of your own Nature Notes!
LOL..I’m sorry RJ..but I thought this kind of stuff only happened to me. It was nice of you to plant it for the hummingbirds…..Thank you for participating in Nature Notes. -Michelle-
I love hummers. wonderful photos to see!
Lovely photos! Delighted to see a hummingbird which I will never see in the wild!I also wanted to thank you for your lovely comments on my blog!
Great shot!!I’m jealous! Our hummingbirs seem to like our purple African Daisies, and our cannas(but they’re not bloomong yet).
Hummingbirds are such a treat I am sorry that yours missed out on the new blossoms. At least you get to enjoy the birds and the flowers even if they are not together. 🙂
It’s so difficult trying to capture a hummingbird. My first shot is one but I don’t even think anyone will notice it’s in the photo. 🙂
Tell me about timing ;)I’ve never seen a hummingbird free in nature. So, just call yourself lucky :DAnd I’ve not seen that kind of Sage either.Ours is more grey and fluffy.
