I don’t know about the rest of the country, but here in Florida, it’s time to VOTE! Early voting starts today, and for the first time in oh, like four years, I have Hope. With a capital “H”.
I watched the news last night before I went to bed, and do you know that at some of the designated early voting locations, there were lines?!? Like concert tickets were going on sale, or something! There were actually people lining up the night before, so they could be the first to VOTE! That is awesome!
We have to keep this kind of excitement rolling… McSame and Appallin’ are hoping to slip in through the Electoral College’s backdoor (an archaic institution if there ever was one), and the only way to avoid that is to make sure that the voices of the people are clear and decisive.
Let’s not get cocky, people… None of that “Let’s start measuring the Oval Office for curtains” crap… Obama’s not won yet. Not until you get your asses to the polls. No excuses! Get out there and VOTE!!!
And if I find out you voted for Ralph Nader, I will track you down like a dog.
