News item about hybrid cars and the advent of electric cars… Item touts Chevrolet for coming out with an all-electric car in 2010. My question: Didn’t Chevy already have an electric car? And then they started recalling them – for all intents and purposes confiscating them – to prevent a market for an electric car (read – the car makers and oil companies working together to promote the public’s appetite for gas, rather than for conservation). See the documentary, Who Killed The Electric Car? Netflix has it.
Just saw a commercial for a show called “Dating The Enemy“. It appears to be a “reality” show premised on the old chestnut of opposites attracting. MJ asked me if I didn’t think that wasn’t taking the concept a little far. I replied that, while I have zero intention of watching that show, there have been several occasions in my long ago dating past, in which I would have paid good money to have had the ability to tell a guy “You’ve got your head so far up your ass…”, but my innate civility wouldn’t permit it.
