What am I doing here, when I should be working? I have so many things on my desk, most of which are seriously late, I can’t even see my desk. You know that “pit-of-your-stomach” sensation, almost always associated with impending doom? Yeah, that one. I’d like to get rid of that now, thank you.
I think that at this moment in time, I feel just so overwhelmed as I look around me, I can’t even pick just one thing to start with. Everything is equally important at this point, so it’s virtually impossible to prioritize. Do I open the new files first? Something is almost certain to sneak up on me with those. Do I….?
Okay. Suck it up. Pick the one thing in front of you, and do it. Damn it.
