I rarely see tree frogs around here. Mostly toads.  It&#8217;s not that they&#8217;re not around, but since the tree frogs are primarily nocturnal, they hardly ever come around to socialize.   They <span style="font-style:italic;">are</span> attracted to house and patio lights because of the insects that are attracted to the lights.   This guy showed up on my back door the other night, just after a rain storm.   Eat hearty, little friend!</p>
