Orchid afficionados are frequently horrified by my orchid &#8220;culture&#8221; of benign neglect, and between blooming times, I&#8217;ll admit that sometimes the foliage looks a little ratty. <p>This morning I posted a new blog called <a href="http://flamingofotos.blogspot.com/">Flamingo Fotos</a>.  It is purely a vanity project &#8211; someplace for me to post some favorite photos I&#8217;ve taken that really don&#8217;t justify a spot here.  It&#8217;s going to pretty much be the flora and fauna around my house and neighborhood, both now and some previous stuff (if I haven&#8217;t re-sized them out of existence!).</p>
<p>It is very much a work-in-progress.  I haven&#8217;t added any links (except to here, of course), or any of the other bells and whistles.  But you can leave comments if the spirit moves you.</p>
<p>This morning, I posted some snaps of several of the vandaceous orchids that are blooming right now.  Let me know what you think!
