Monday (that’s right, today, for most of you) is the last day to vote in the 2008 Weblog Awards. In the “Pet Blog” Category, I am voting for Daisy The Curly Cat, and I urge you to do the same.

Yes, I love Cute Overload and ICanHazCheeseburger (I never spell that right) – their links are in my blogroll – but I am addicted to Daisy!

So far, the runaway winner (with an undeserved 51% of the vote), is something called Fuck You, Penguin. I think the only reason is because the name of the blog has “Fuck You” in it. That sucks. It’s a very weird site that thinks it is Cute Overload, with swearing. A lot of swearing. For no reason. Personally, it kind of gives me the creeps. It’s just wrong. Listen, I’m no prude, people. I have used the occasional “fuck” here from time to time for emphasis (and more so in everyday life, I’m afraid), but frankly, I think four-letter words and epithets lose their power when you use them for no fucking reason. There. See how that works?

So, screw the guy with the foul mouth and please Vote For Daisy!
