I hope that by the time you read this, it will be gone. The “it” I am referring to is the little Google AdSense ad(s) referring to “Barak Obama Exposed” and the like. I finally found the ad filter, and by the time this post goes up, “it” should be gone, gone, gone. Unless I did something wrong. Which is always a possibility.

I apologize and am totally embarrassed to have that crap show up on my blog. Anyone that actually knows me, knows that something like that would not be a choice of mine. As the presumptive Democratic nominee, I support Barak Obama and pray that he becomes President of the United States. No doubt about it. AdSense is supposed to post ads relevant to my blog content. I guess it just picks up on keywords or phrases and posts whatever, indiscriminately.

Frankly, I’m on the verge of removing the AdSense ads, altogether. It’s not like anybody is going to click on the stupid shit they’re putting on there and I’m not making a penny, yet (you only get paid by the number of click-throughs). I suppose they save the good ads for the blogs that allow larger sizes and videos.

I don’t know if I want to go that direction, especially since I’m using such a narrow template. I’ve been trying to stay somewhat tasteful. That giant “WarGames” jpg notwithstanding. That’s a SocialSpark thing. You have to place certain pieces of code (usually links) into your post, and you’re prohibited from fiddling with those bits in any way. Otherwise, I surely would have re-sized that thing. Usually it isn’t a problem. >Sigh<

Can you blame a girl for trying to make an extra buck?
